Generalists select and take a mix of courses from the other MPH concentrations to tailor their education to their specific interests. This allows students the flexibility to attain a variety of competencies and skills throughout their studies. Dual-degree students select the generalist concentration to satisfy the credit requirements for both of their programs of study. About a third of MPH students select the generalist concentration.
