Ragini Maddipati has more than 14 years of experience in clinical research, data management and analysis, program management and evaluation, as well as sexual and reproductive health and reproductive justice.  

After earning her MSW from the Brown School in 2009, Maddipati worked in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at WashU Medicine as a key member of the Contraceptive CHOICE Project and on clinical research initiatives focused on expanding health equity and reproductive health services in the St. Louis area. Her work helped reduce barriers to reproductive health care, particularly for underserved populations. She earned her MPH from the Brown School in 2018, and then transitioned into higher education administration, holding roles in student applied practice and assistant deanships in social work and public health, with a focus on education policy, student support, assessment and accreditation.

Over the last 10 years, Maddipati has provided supervision and mentorship to students in public health, social work and medicine. She teaches Foundations of Public Health Epidemiology and Public Health Seminar, and previously served as an adjunct instructor at WashU Medicine through the Clinical Research Training Center. Her community work includes serving on the advisory board for WashU’s Campus Y, which engages undergraduate students in service-learning opportunities on campus and in the greater St. Louis area. She also serves as a data consultant and analyst at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, focusing on evidence-based data on reproductive health, reproductive justice, and contraceptive access.
